TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

The automatic cleaning system is a special advanced cleaning device for 328mm diameter cartridge dust filters.
During backwashing, the nozzle interrupts the airflow through the filter allowing dust to precipitate. In the meantime, compressed air flows out of the small holes in the vertical tubes and the nozzle rotates.

The flow of compressed air shakes the pleats and, crossing the filter in countercurrent, makes a deep washing.
The small holes in the tubes are staggered so that the jet of compressed air covers the entire filter.
With this system it is possible to reach with the air jet also the sealing points of the paper with the end plates.
Washing of the cartridge lasts from 1 to 4 seconds and the interval between washings can also be adjusted between 10 and 20 seconds on average.
At the end of each pulse the plate is lifted by the vacuum created by the fan.
